Sewing Lessons For Beginners

In this 8-week course we will teach you how to work with a sewing machine, create patterns, make a design and bring it to life. You will work on your own chosen project at your own pace with professional guidance. No experience needed.

In the first class we will discuss the project you want to work on, sketch your design and start creating the patterns. Depending on the project we will advise you which fabrics and what other supplies you will need, so you can bring it with you for the next class.

Course can be given in English and Dutch

What we offer:

• 8 lessons for 2 hours on a weekday
  how to use the sewing machine, make patterns and a design
• basic patterns
• pattern paper
• tools like scissors, measuring tape, needles, pins
• sewingmachines and an overlock
• iron board
• coffee/tea 

What to bring:

• ideas
• fabric
• sewing thread
• when needed: sewing supplies like a zipper or buttons
• a notebook with pencil for notes and sketches

Price: €250,- per person.

If there is space, it is possible to add single lessons to the course, in case you want to continue on your project for €33,- per class.

We are not responsible for finishing your project on time. We aim for you to finish it in the 8 lessons, but if you have particular wishes that are slowing the process, it can happen that you don’t finish in time. If it is not finished and you need extra help, you are of course welcome to book an extra class to finish it. Missed classes are not refundable.
